We built the bike in the picture in our custom shop. Something about the area above the muffler never looked finished.
After cutting some cardboard up, the solution to this unfinished look was found.
We had 100 pairs of mild steel plates laser cut to cover the saddlebag frames, muffler mount tab and hide the gap that allowed you to see over the muffler, the rear wheel, etc. They may be hard to see, but that’s the idea. They mount using the muffler bolt and that is all that is needed. They are notched and contoured to follow the saddlebag.
May not be compatible with some trailer hitches. As of 2/26/16, there are only 6 pairs left. Raw finish, but can be powder-coated for an additional $5.
